UMFThe mission of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” Bucharest (www.univermed-cdgm.ro), is to educate and train high level specialists in the health protection, education and scientific research domains. Certainly the university represents, since the first century from the foundation, the first medical and pharmacy educational institution in Romania. Many other universities have followed its example. Along the years, the university became a leader in medical sciences and has gained a significant interdisciplinary experience. The university has in its structure multiple departments that help train professionals in the field of health. The department that is going to be involved within the proposal will be the nursing department that trains nurses in the specialized field of health care.

UMF Carol Davila wants to further contribute to the education development process and specialized scientific research. To this end, they will be the core partner in the proposal strongly involved in the health pilot to be held in Romania. They will be the main beneficiaries of the expertise to be transferred within the project. The university has a Nursing department that deals with the preparation and training of future nurses in the Health domain. The experts involved from Carol Davila have a large experience in the nursing domain, contributing to the proposal with their specialized expertise. Their input will be valuable during the pilot phase of the project, bringing their vast knowledge and experience within the nursing field.
